Francy Carranza Franco, holds a PhD in Development Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS, University of London), a Msc on Social Psychology (LSE) and a BA on Psychology (National University of Colombia).. She has worked at the Institute of Political Studies and International Relations (IEPRI) of the National University of Colombia in the Observatory of Restitution and Land Property Rights the project entitled Globalization, Violence and Democracy. She has also worked for the Ministry of Education in Colombia and the Bogota´s Institute for the Research in Education and Development of Pedagogy (IDEP). She was lecturer at the Faculty of Political Sciences and International Relations, Universidad Javeriana. She has published different reports and articles on the Colombian conflict in topics such as DDR, female FARC guerrillas, the victim’s law, land reform and rural education. She currently works as project manager at Movilizatorio.
